Dr. Hany Assal is currently the President and CEO of Globaltronics Electronics, the leading Middle East manufacturer of electricity meters and energy management solutions.

In 1986, he co-founded and managed IEP "International Electrical Products", and later on became the Bahjat Group.

IEP's products quickly grew to become the largest supplier in Egypt and a manufacturer of electronic products and home appliances, partnering with international brands such as "Goldstar" (LG), "Philips".

Dr. Hany Assal managed to transform the company's performance into a successful business project covering the Middle East and Africa.

He worked as a visiting professor of telecommunications at Cairo University. He holds a doctorate in electrical engineering from Stanford University, as well as a master's degree and a bachelor's degree from Cairo University.
